Tim was born, raised, and currently resides in the Fertile/Gary, MN area.
He is proud to work for RE/MAX as a Licensed Real Estate Agent and to
help others with the significant investments involved in the purchase and
sale of property and homes. When you hire Tim to help you with your
Real Estate needs, you are getting an advocate, not afraid to put in the
extra time required to get the most advantageous outcome for you. He
has experience not only with RE/MAX, but previously with Real Estate
Professionals, LLC, as well as being the current Co-Owner of Oistad
Estate & Auction Service.

His devotion to provide service to others has been the backbone of his
life. After serving in the Army Reserves and attending Moorhead State
University, Tim returned to serve the Fertile area as a Paramedic with
County EMS where he was employed full-time for 20 years, and served as
Chief Operations Officer. He maintains this certification and organizational
connection. He is a Firefighter with the Fertile Fire Department where he
has volunteered for over 26 years holding officer positions and where he
was the Charitable Gaming Manager for over 20 years. He is also a
Supervisor and former Chairman of the Sundal Township Board. Tim
graduated from Auctioneer School in 2004, and formed Agassiz
Auctioneers with a friend, but he saw a greater need than just facilitating
auctions. He and his wife Sarah established Oistad Estate & Auction
Service in 2010 to provide more service choices for people in transitional,
and often difficult, situations. The addition of Real Estate sales has been
a natural progression in the estate business. Currently, Tim focuses on
Real Estate, while Sarah leads the estate business.

Tim, his wife, and their two children live on a farm between Fertile and
Gary. He brings with him a lifelong commitment to the local community
and its residents. His honest approach to business, and his willingness to
go the extra mile, set him apart from most.
